my story
5 minutes

/01 Growing up in a small village in Hungary, I never thought I would speak any foreign languages. But then, I started volunteering at an exchange program organization, met many exchange students, and became one. And I learned English and Italian when my desire to understand people outgrew my fear of making mistakes.
/02 I grew up thinking computers were "for boys". But at the age of 18, I started teaching myself how to code after a competition opened my eyes to how programming can enable you to build anything from a simple landing page to a self-navigating robot.
/03 I used to be afraid of holding presentations. But when I became a programming teaching assistant at Malmö University, I realized how much you can learn about a subject by teaching it. So when my enthusiasm for sharing and generating knowledge together overcame my anxiety about losing my train of thought, my fear of presenting was gone.
My message with all of these examples is that the way I defined myself changed when my goals and aspirations changed. I used to look at myself as someone who was "not good at languages", "bad at computers", and scared of presentations. Now, I know 4 natural and 3 programming languages, and I like sharing my insights and the outcomes of my team's work. Thus,  I don't feel the need to define myself anymore. Instead, I strive to define my goals and my principles and to trust that  they will define me if my actions are aligned with them.

my philosophy

By helping others improve you also improve, and by improving yourself you help others improve.

my goal

To find projets that challenge me to learn new skills and evolve

my design approach

Enhancing rather than replacing meaningful human interactions with technology
